When you decide to use the Orbacanis service to manage your property assets, you can be up and running in days.
There is no need for you to buy extra computer equipment or install and maintain software. We run the service for you, from a specialist data centre in London Docklands. The only prerequisite is that you must have an effective Internet connection, preferably Broadband.
The first step is to enter into a licence agreement with Ergo Sum Limited that allows you to use the Orbacanis service. The basic licence places no limits on the number of your employees who can use the service on your behalf.
We provide training for your staff and help with the initial set up of portfolios and users. From that point on, you can start recording the details of your property assets. You can also maintain your list of users, setting permissions for portfolios or for specific properties to control who can view or edit the data.
Sharing your data with others
If you want to share your property data with third parties, the licence allows this on payment of a supplement licence fee. There is no limit to the number of organisations with which you can share your data. Ideal candidates would be your solicitors and property advisors. They would use the Orbacanis service under the terms of a simplified "Viewer's Licence".
Allowing others to edit your data
A good way to keep your records up to date is to ask your solicitors to record the details of each property matter when they undertake the work. To do this, your solicitors will need editing rights. There is no additional charge for you to pay but we need to enter into a "Data Editing Licence" with your solicitors. This sets the rules for their use of the service and entitles them to support and is subject to a support charge.
