Any document, drawing, plan or photograph that is relevant to a property can be recorded in Orbacanis. Each is identified by date and description.

Smart Documents

Documents can be given more meaning by associating them with specific property interests and by categorising them under appropriate headings. With this extra information, Orbacanis can automatically display lists of relevant documents in the right context within many of its screens.

Display scanned documents

Many businesses find it convenient to scan important documents and hold them as .PDF files. Each document recorded in Orbacanis can be linked with a .PDF file or to any other type of file that can be displayed in a browser window. Documents with links show an 'information' icon. Click the icon to display the scanned document in a new browser window and, if necessary, make a printed copy.

Document Tracker

How do you know where your original documents are? You can set up any number of document locations and record the movement of documents between locations. These would typically include filing areas and external locations such as the offices of solicitors and professional advisors, trustees and banks. The history of movements is displayed for each document. The current location of any document can be seen easily.
